Management terabyte Posted May 4, 2022 Management Posted May 4, 2022 View File (TB) Hide Dangerous PHP Functions Notification Forever Does the ACP keep nagging you to disable "Dangerous PHP Functions" that you can't disable? This plugin does exactly as its name says and hides the ACP Notification forever! Quote Please note that this plugin is available only on this site as IPS doesn't allow submissions that remove any ACP or Frontend Notifications for admins! Joey-M Posted August 5, 2023 Posted August 5, 2023 The annoying thing about the messages is the space they use; you can hide them but just as quickly they reappear. Is it possible to hide the "switch to cloud", the "upgrade" and "License Key Expired"? Some of these I used to use CSS to hide, but the code no longer works and I think it's most likely due to CSS no longer being able to be used for this.
Management terabyte Posted August 5, 2023 Author Management Posted August 5, 2023 The more you hide it, the longer "Switch to Cloud" remains hidden in ACP. Also it doesn't really take up vertical space like the other huge notices, so I'm not gonna bother with it. Does the "license expired" one keep showing even if you hide it or after it's actually expired? I haven't really tested with that one. For the upgrade notification you can use this other plugin instead: It works only for the frontend and you'll still see the message in ACP, though. The upgrade notice is triggered once a day when the task to check for updates runs. I refreshed a page, and it came back after hiding it, with a pop-up box asking me to take a survey.
Management terabyte Posted August 5, 2023 Author Management Posted August 5, 2023 Hmm, in that case it should probably be similar to the upgrade notification. I've added a note in my TODO list for now.
