Tips on Growing a Forum?

So I just launched a new gaming community website, basically meant to pull in all types of gamers and spark conversation, discuss tactics, mods, glitches and more. Things are always slow at first for new forums, but I am looking for some sort of 'sponsor' or other community to may be help jumpstart my community up. I can either pay, or possibly post links to your site/you post links to mine, etc. If anyone does any type of sponsorships, please feel free to contact me! I made my site look VERY professional, so you wouldn't be sponsoring a "noob" looking website. A link to my site is provided in my signature.
