This poll is only for those 2 browser so don't ask to add the others

If you use another browser simply select the third option :)

I simply cant understand how ppl can use IE....

Because IE doesn't edit all of the code making the site look like some little kid made it.

Not a fan of it, just prefer it over other options!

FF SUCKS HARDCORE!!!

If you ever made some web site all by your self, then you must know that after initial coding u get it like this:

in firefox usualy 95% works

in opera usualy around 80-85%

in IE7 around 60%

in IE4,5,6 around 40%or less

Stuff that doesnt work are usualy CSS related, couse every browser reads that code and then shows to the end user diffrent... I am also not talking to some simple web sites, i am talking about dynamic HTML...

In IE7 they have added tabed browsing, while in all other browsers thats been implemented for years...

IE comes with microsoft windows by default and thats's the only, i repeat only, reason why it is so widely spread...

And my favorite reason why not to use IE is:

Of ocurse some smart ppl have found a way to bypass that:

IE = spyware player!

Oh yeah, i forgot, few days ago i was reinstaling windows for my friend. He was using IE(4 or 5) only 'couse he had that one with his win xp... When i took his hdd it was full of spywares, addwares and who knows what else... I have formated his hdd and installed clean win xp and first thing i have installed is firefox... now his pc is running smoothly...

One other thing why not to use IE:

dont have google search bar at top right with sugestions

IE is way too slow and crashes on me all the time after 30 mins max usually... Firefox has always been reliable and crashes only like once a month.. then I just reload.. np

Today i just added more reasons to not like IE...

First, i simply cant install IE7, i download install file, reboot, and nothing... Ffs.... Luckyely i found out about sleipnir, in wich i can use IE engine...

I need IE so i could see how does my site looks up in it... Of course, i have finnished my site with no problem at all, worked perfectly in ff and opera, but i had to spend next hour-hour and a half or so screwing around with stupid code just to make it work in ie the same it runs in ff and opera... ffs....

Fuck IE. I hate browsers that dont use standards.

well i've been using IE7for sometime now and haven't had any major problems with it, as for spyware etc I run a good detector in the background, keeps the nasties out from sites that want to keep tabs on ya, oh and I run ff on my second machine so that I can see what a screen looks like in that.

personally I use a IE based browser called Maxthon so /i use nether except to see how the sites look in them but after reading some of these replys talking about how secure ff is over IE , I can't resist replying to these peeps who have done no research into this in the past year , yes when ff first came out it was way less vulnerable than IE, reason being ff was new and 80%+ of the net users used IE so most hackers didn't work very hard at finding exploits for it , but in the past year it has become a big target for hackers and believe it or not (your choice on whether you listen and do some research or not) there are now 50% more exploits found in ff every month than there are in IE so for those of you thinking your ff is so secure it's time to keep up on your updates to it and to go back to being as carefull using ff as you used to be with IE cause you worried about how secure it was

FF is more secure than IE because of extensions instead for IE you need to wait for "official fix".

On every computer with Firefox for example i use NoScript extension.
