IPB Skin Stolen and Redone

Recently I was browsing other skin sites to see what new creations have emerged in the IPS skinning scene, when I noticed something that looked really familiar. I was very shocked when I saw nearly my own creation with a slight change in color, icons, and gloss everywhere. I was quite trembled about the fact that she not only has nearly copied my whole skin, but is selling it as her own! I figured I would approach this situation with caution not getting too upset with this. Maybe it was just all a misunderstanding.

 

I asked her if she "had any idea that she has copied my skin Professional Blue, And what you are doing is very wrong and there should be no reason why you should be doing this". She replied to me with this rude message that I bear to even read again

I don't know you or anything about your skins, but this is a copy in reverse of my Technotronix skin, so if you have one out like that, then you copied ME.

 

Weird, eh? That's the typical reaction of a person who is afraid and knows that she did something wrong. She said she doesn't know my skins while the skin is exactly the same as mine, and she tells me I am copying her while my was made ages

.

 

Now clearly by then I was really frustrated and angered by this whole situation. Here is proof that my style/creation was published before hers. Shortly after the reply she sent me another PM containing the following:

If you were half as good as you think you are, you wouldn't give a shit less. Leave this site. I'm sick of little amatures like you trying to copy my work.

 

I do think banning me on such issue that clearly needs to be worked out in a mature manner, was very childish. Its even more mind blowing to me that she is still trying to bring up that "I" copied "her" work. For me its hard to believe that she can come up with he same exact idea before me 7 months earlier, then release it in August.

 

So I'm 110% sure I didn't go back in time some how and reverse and combine her skins to make my Pro blue. So I ask all of you for some support and some tips on what to do. Surely I don't plan on hiring a lawyer on such a small issue. But something has to be done.

 

 

 

I ask you all to take a quick moment to review my design VS. her design created 7 months later and to be the judge and witness of this copyrighted design and creation.

I must again take this oportunity to say that you manha make excellent skins! :)

 

Also maybe that could be my next tip, just chill and continiue doing your thing, and ppl will sooner or l8er know even more about you, same as for tb, if you do good job ppl will come to your site... :)
