background tasks

When I, as an admin, post in the forum, either a file or a topic, in the admin section, background tasks are displayed And I have to manually run all of them.

The reason for this could be due to enabling the 'IndexNow' option?

Yeah, that's indeed because of enabling the IndexNow option. However, the tasks will automatically run in a couple of minutes max.

 

Well, as long as running the tasks is properly setup. In case you use the "site traffic" option, unless there is activity on the site's frontend the tasks won't run. The best option is to use the cronjob to run them.

However, for me, it takes much longer, sometimes even months.

I have also enabled this option, but apparently, it's not working correctly.

If the tasks aren't running properly  with the chosen option a big red warning should appear at the top of each ACP page after a few days.
